Services

  • Free first career advising appointment: For attorneys, I start with a 15 minute free career advising appointment by phone, video or in-person (see my appointment scheduler). I will talk about your short-term and long-term goals in terms of your career planning, as well as how I can be most helpful to you as your legal career advisor.

  • Detailed materials review: If we decide to move forward working together, I will take a detailed look at your resume and other application materials. I’ve reviewed over 1,500 resumes in my work as a career advisor (I checked). The resume is the foundation of the legal job search - not only does it show your experience, it also needs to tell your story. Your resume and other materials will evolve depending on your search and the individual position. I will be there to help each step of the way.

  • Identification of opportunities: We will discuss opportunities in detail. I will create a shareable list that will be updated regularly. We will also discuss other strategies that may be necessary for success in your job search, including mapping and leveraging your network of legal contacts. We will not submit your materials for any position without your express written permission.

  • Frequent communication about job search progress: As a recruiter and career advisor, it’s important to be responsive to attorneys that are looking to make a job change. The process can be stressful and unclear. Whether by phone, email or text, I am here to keep you updated and motivated.

  • Mock interview preparation: Interviewing for a legal position is unique. As an experienced mock interviewer, I will coach you through what you can expect and how to handle the tough questions for each interview that you have.

  • Offer evaluation and counselling: When a job offer comes in, we will discuss the full terms and details.

I advise attorneys on finding the jobs they want.
